The Department of Ports and Customs Ajman (DPC) celebrated the 54th Union Day of the United Arab Emirates in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of DPC; Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General; distinguished guests; DPC employees; and staffs of the Concession Company. The celebration took place in an atmosphere filled with pride and a profound sense of national belonging.

The event commenced with the UAE National Anthem, followed by a short video highlighting the Union’s remarkable journey and achievements over the past 54 years. The Chairman of the DPC delivered a speech on this occasion, reflecting on the honorable legacy established by the Founding Fathers, emphasizing that the values they instilled continue to guide the nation’s progress. He extended heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Their Highnesses the Vice Presidents and Rulers of the Emirates, and to H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, as well as H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. His Excellency also stressed the importance of promoting the values of the Union and strengthening the spirit of belonging among all employees of the Department.

The program featured a variety of traditional performances, including Al Ayala, the Harbiya performance, and a traditional maritime show. Popular competitions added a vibrant interactive atmosphere to the celebration, with valuable prizes awarded to the winners. A group of employees was also honored for their efforts and contributions to the development of the Department’s operations.The event concluded with a breakfast gathering that brought employees together in a warm, family-like atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of unity and national pride on this special occasion.
